My runner beans (I guess that is the same as your green beans on the poles) have stopped growing because it is still too cold at night. We have had warm dry weather in the daytime but at night we have even had frost. This is very unusual in May in South West UK! I have had to cover my potatoes and courgettes with fleece to stop them getting too cold. I hope they like being tucked up in their warm bed! We had some heavy rain yesterday so that is good for them, too.
