What a difference a week makes.. consistently warm days, lots of sunshine and regular watering, result in a big growth spurt for our seedlings..
1st Grade sweetcorn doing well with prekindergarten yellow zucchini taking hold nicely
4th Grade green beans doing nicely whilst small yellow beans are just poking through the soil. The yellow bean seedlings that prekindergarten brought on in their class did not survive the cold snap from 2 weeks ago - I was a little over eager in planting them out! I popped in a whole bunch more seeds directly into the earth and they are happily sprouting. To the left you can see tiny broccoli and cauliflower seedlings which need thinning out. A good job for Garden Club tomorrow!
